Outdoor learning

We try to use our amazing school grounds to encourage as much outdoor learning as possible.  Our teachers, Mrs Patey and Mrs Higgins have worked very hard to create outdoor learning spaces for the children of all ages to use, from woodland parachute canopy to fire pit, Story Chair to pond.

Fun & Active Playgrounds came to instal a number of fun games and markings for our school playground. We now have some multicoloured throw lines for our pupils to stand at and make their shot towards the basketball nets.

We also have a running track and active spot circuit to encourage more physical activity such as lunges, squats, hops, stretches and star jumps! Plus, to help with maths and geography, we have a new compass clock. All of these playground markings really brighten up our outdoor play area and it’s been great to see our children having fun with them.
